Frank Sinatra (1915–1998) was the definitive voice of American popular music and one of the greatest entertainers of the 20th century. Known as 'Ol' Blue Eyes' and 'The Chairman of the Board,' Sinatra's collaborations with big band arrangers Nelson Riddle, Billy May, and Gordon Jenkins produced some of the most beloved recordings in jazz and pop history. His Capitol Records albums of the 1950s—including 'Songs for Swingin' Lovers' and 'Come Fly with Me'—set the standard for big band vocal arrangements.
