American songwriters Jack Palmer and Spencer Williams were prolific contributors to jazz and popular music from the 1920s through the 1940s. Their collaborative efforts produced numerous hits, most notably the enduring standard "Everybody Loves My Baby (But My Baby Don't Love Nobody But Me)." Individually and together, their compositions were recorded by many prominent artists, solidifying their place in the Great American Songbook.
