American songwriter Peter Udell (born 1936) is best known for his collaborations with lyricist Gary Geld. Together, they penned numerous hit songs for Broadway musicals and popular music artists, including the Grammy-nominated "Purlie" and the chart-topping "Sealed with a Kiss." His work significantly contributed to the sound of 1960s and 70s pop and musical theater.
