An American jazz and popular music composer, Sid Wyche (1922–1983) was active primarily in the mid-20th century. He is best known for co-writing the classic song "Slightly Out of Tune (Desafinado)" with Antonio Carlos Jobim, a bossa nova standard that gained international recognition. Wyche's contributions helped popularize Brazilian jazz rhythms in the United States and beyond.
