An American composer active from the 1910s through the 1950s, M.K. Jerome (1893–1977) was a prolific songwriter for Tin Pan Alley and Hollywood. He contributed music to numerous films, particularly for Warner Bros., and penned popular songs such as "My Little Buckaroo" and "Just a Baby's Prayer at Twilight." His work spanned popular music, often with a sentimental or novelty appeal, and he was a significant figure in the early sound film era.
