American composer and arranger Mike Tomaro (born 1958) has made significant contributions to jazz education and performance. As a prolific writer, his works are widely performed by high school, college, and professional jazz ensembles. Tomaro is also a respected saxophonist and educator, currently serving as Director of Jazz Studies at Duquesne University.
