Lew Brown was an American songwriter who was part of the successful songwriting team of DeSylva, Brown, and Henderson. He wrote lyrics for many popular songs of the 1920s and 1930s, contributing to numerous Broadway shows and films. His collaborations produced some of the era's most enduring hits.
