Jim Henson was an American puppeteer, animator, cartoonist, actor, inventor, composer, and filmmaker. He was the creator of The Muppets and Fraggle Rock, and was known for his innovative work in puppetry and children's entertainment. While primarily known for his puppetry, he also composed music for some of his productions.
