American singer Frankie Laine, active from the 1940s to the 2000s, was a powerful baritone known for his dramatic delivery of popular songs, often incorporating elements of jazz and blues. He achieved numerous hit singles, including "That's My Desire" and "Mule Train." Carl T. Fischer, an American pianist and composer, was Laine's long-time accompanist and frequent collaborator, co-writing many of Laine's signature tunes, most notably the iconic "We'll Be Together Again."
