Christopher Washburne is an American trombonist, composer, and ethnomusicologist. He is known for his work in jazz, Latin jazz, and experimental music, often incorporating elements of various global traditions. Washburne is also a professor at Columbia University, where he directs the Louis Armstrong Jazz Performance Program.
