Chas Jankel is an English musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the guitarist and keyboardist for the new wave band Ian Dury and the Blockheads. He co-wrote many of their hits, including "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick." Jankel has also released several solo albums and composed music for films.
