Sammy Cahn & Jule Styne

Jazz Composer

American songwriters Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne formed one of the most prolific and successful partnerships in 20th-century popular music. Active primarily from the 1940s through the 1960s, their collaboration yielded numerous iconic songs for film, Broadway, and popular vocalists, including "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" and "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend." Their sophisticated melodies and witty lyrics became hallmarks of the Great American Songbook.
